Russell Clay Maxey III, age 33, of Davenport, passed away on June 28, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme. A private family gathering will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010. Weerts Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Russell Clay was born on March 1, 1977 in El Monte, California to Russell and Debra Maxey. He graduated from El Monte High School in 1995. He worked hard most of his life, most recently at Redfield Printing. He collected and enjoyed music and movies, but the greatest joy in his life was his daughter.
Survivors include his mother and step father, Deb (Kevin) Scott, his daughter, Lily Sunshine Maxey, 2 brothers, Shan (Nikki) Maxey, and Andrew Ritter, 1 sister, Jennifer Ritter, 1 step-brother, Austin Arnold, 1 step-sister, Sarah Scott, grandfather, Leon Bigney, uncle, Carl Bigney, and 2 nieces, Madeline Rose and Gillian Kathleen Maxey.
He was preceded in death by his father and aunt.
